Asia investment banking analyst training program in Mumbai rated a success
The first Asia IB analyst training program brought together 85 participants from offices in Asia, EMEA and New York.
More than 85 analysts from Asia, EMEA and New York completed the first JPMorgan Asia Investment Banking Analyst Training Program held in Mumbai.
Addressing the participants, Bill Winters stated, “This program marks the launch of another key initiative in India and reinforces our commitment to invest in our people”.
“The aim of the training program is to replicate the Global Investment Banking Analyst Training Program in New York, including the rigor and intensity of the curriculum and the world-class instructors. The analysts graduate from the program equipped with the necessary technical skills to succeed on the desk. Global networking is also a highlight of the program,” said Stacey Pike, head of Analyst and Associate Training for the Investment Bank. Todd Marin, head of IB M&A Asia ex Japan, spoke to the trainees about the key attributes that make a successful investment banking analyst. He noted the training program provides an excellent opportunity for them to learn core skills they will use throughout their careers with JPMorgan.
Emma Zhao, an analyst from Shanghai, said, “It was quite an experience for us to learn from top instructors from around the world. I also met many new colleagues and made friends across the regions.”
With senior management support from Asia, EMEA and the Americas, the initiative is a demonstration of the firm’s long-term commitment to investing and developing employees across the globe.
