What might you be doing?

MBA & Postgraduates from major business schools across the globe join us as Associates upon completion of their course. Regardless of which business division you choose, an Associate becomes keenly involved in transaction marketing, execution and implementation right from the start. You will critically analyse information and advise on customised solutions that achieve the client's objectives. You will be given opportunities to lead in discussions with company management and provide insights to the transaction. Your exposure to key decision-makers of the companies will allow you to gain in-depth knowledge and appreciation of your respective sector and also of your clients. An Associate also takes on responsibilities for providing guidance to Analysts whilst providing first-hand product and industry expertise to client executives.

As a full-time associate, specific responsibilities may include:

• Partnering and coordinating with industry and product teams, Legal and Compliance departments with development of innovative client solutions
• Performing financial analysis and modeling and making strategic recommendations
• Conducting industry and product research and synthesizing key insights
• Leading development and preparation of client presentation materials 
• Managing execution of day-to-day activities surrounding 'live' transactions

There are personal qualities and core skills that are key requirements for a role in Investment Banking. We seek highly motivated, result-driven, creative individuals who can generate ideas and execute them successfully. Our candidates have strong entrepreneurial, analytical, quantitative, communication and client relations skills. Teamwork and project management skills are critical.

Fluency in English is necessary, and if you are competent in an Asian Pacific language then so much the better.  Diversity is essential within the Investment Banking division, which is why we recruit from different backgrounds and many degree disciplines.
