Finance is an essential part of our business. This area is accountable for the delivery of financial information, whether for an individual business area or for the firm's overall results. Finance also provides financial and capital-related information to regulators.

As a Finance professional you may perform a variety of duties, including executing strategy and business development projects, preparing financial reports, providing advice on transactions, defining accounting policies, managing annual planning and budgeting or consulting in special situations and on new business teams. You will also help be part of developing standards and metrics, and raise control awareness across all business lines, as well as playing a critical role in supporting the strategies of the firm.

Through a range of experiences, supported by the team and senior managers, you will:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the firm's businesses and operations 
• Build expertise in financial spreadsheets, budgets and forecasts 
• Further develop analytical skills by gathering, consolidating and analyzing financial data 
• Sharpen problem-solving skills through 'hands-on' experience in analyzing and reporting product and business profitability and return on investment 
• Make recommendations and presentations to senior management on strategic and financial management issues 
• Assist in the management of the firm's general ledger, disbursements and other financial operations.

As you progress through your career you may move into a position as a Financial Analyst, Strategy Specialist, Accountant or Finance Process Specialist.

Can you do this?

We seek candidates who are highly motivated and have a strong orientation to detail, accuracy, problem solving and team building. Qualified candidates should be able to articulate complex ideas, possess strong analytical skills and have the desire to build a career within Finance. We also look for candidates who have strong leadership, communication and analytic skills. You must have a strong work ethic and desire to learn and succeed continuously as well as the ability to work under pressure to reach deadlines and to use creative problem-solving skills. Preferred majors include finance or accounting, however, all business majors will be considered.
