Global Credit Risk Management
What might you be doing?
When we generate revenue through lending, trading and capital markets activity, there's always the risk that the return on our investment won't be what we expect. We don't like surprises. Neither do our clients. Our Risk Managers see to it that there aren't any unwelcome disclosures. There are two main groups with Credit Risk Management in Asia: Credit Risk Management itself and Credit Portfolio Group.
As an Analyst in Global Credit Risk Management (GCRM) you will develop expertise in evaluating credit risk. You may also have the opportunity to experience a trading environment, the pressures of transaction execution, discuss use of the bank's capital, perform in-depth reviews of various clients across multiple industries, set strategies to reduce the firm's overall credit exposure and analyse credit risks on an industry, client and transactional basis.
You will work in a small team alongside senior professionals and will develop a network of contacts across the business. You will be required to present your findings, articulate your opinions and offer your solution to the issue in hand. Active participation in these encounters will be a prerequisite to success.
