Finance is an essential part of our business. This area is accountable for the delivery of financial information, whether for an individual business area or for the firm's overall results. Finance also provides financial and capital-related information to regulators.

During the internship, you will have an opportunity to experience multiple aspects of
J.P. Morgan. Through your assignment, you will benefit from professional development opportunities, team projects, corporate presentations and exposure to mentors. You will gain substantial job experience as part of the Finance program that could include:

• Preparing financial spreadsheets, budgets and forecasts 
• Developing analytical skills by gathering, consolidating and analysing financial data 
• Problem-solving through 'hands-on' experience in analysing and reporting product and project profitability and return on investment 
• Making recommendations and presentations to senior management 
• Assisting in the management of the firm's general ledger, disbursements and other financial operations
• Upon successful completion of the internship, participants may be offered full-time positions as Financial Analysts, Accountants or Finance Process Specialists

Can you do this?

Preferred degrees include finance or accounting, but all business degrees will be considered.
We seek candidates who are highly motivated and have a strong orientation to detail, accuracy, problem solving and team building. Qualified candidates should be able to articulate simply complex ideas, possess strong analytical skills and have the desire to build a career within Finance. We also look for candidates who have strong leadership, communication and analytic skills. You must have a strong work ethic and desire to learn and succeed continuously, as well as the ability to work under pressure to reach deadlines and to use creative problem-solving skills.
