Finance professionals may perform a variety of duties, including executing strategy and business development projects, preparing financial reports, providing advice on transactions, defining accounting policies, managing annual planning and budgeting or consulting in special situations and on new business teams. They also help develop standards and metrics, and raise control awareness across all business lines.
Finance professionals may work with business managers at all levels, including top executive management and boards of directors. They are also often offered opportunities to work in other a range of offices within Asia. Typically, they develop skills that are in constant demand in any business environment, such as leadership, teamwork, risk management, process redesign, project management, critical thinking and communications.
Finance services in Asia Pacific cover 15 locations and support each line of business, as well as playing a critical role in supporting the strategies of the firm. Each office has its own unique geographical and cultural considerations and we take advantage of these wherever possible. Processing functions are largely based in India, while other locations are centres of excellence for financial/business information and operating risk.
